Playgroup aims to provide and extend through play, children's learning in all the developmental areas - physical, emotional, intellectual, linguistic and social as appropriate to each child's needs. This is achieved using a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and a wide variety of resources, to stimulate learning and a child's interest. Activities are carried out both within small and large group settings.

For many children, Playgroup staff are the first adults outside their immediate family that they learn to trust. All our Playgroup staff are experienced and hold Childcare Qualifications.

Playgroup hours are 9:00 - 12:00 or, 1:00 - 4:00, whole day sessions or other variations after discussion with staff. Please refer to our Fees page for our current fees.

Children are eligible for Playgroup from circa 2 years of age. This is usually the three terms prior to them entering the Nursery class.
